Founded in Toronto, Ontario by Paul Stavropoulos, Blue Hour Productions Inc. is a boutique production house specializing in socially-conscious documentaries, high-concept narrative, branded content, music videos, and emerging technologies, including immersive VR and interactive content.

About Paul Stavropoulos

Toronto-based filmmaker Paul Stavropoulos directs, produces, shoots, and edits fictional and factual works with a focus on love and connection, and stories that forge an empathic bridge to underrepresented voices. He has worked on films that have screened at several acclaimed festivals worldwide, including Cannes, Slamdance, Miami, Atlanta, and more.

In 2017, he was one of a select group of international filmmakers chosen to work with and receive mentorship from Werner Herzog on a month-long filmmaking expedition in Cuba. Paul’s film produced during their time together was distinguished by Herzog as one of the top three of the workshop. Paul graduated from the film program at Ryerson University, where he also studied personally with Atom Egoyan.
